I realize it is only October but anyone who knows me knows it could be July when the Christmas music comes on. I find I could listen to it any day of the year. I've tried to hold back but I find myself a bit disappointed when the season comes to an end and they've stopped playing Christmas music on the radio. I never feel like I've gotten enough of it. Those around me think we've all gotten to much. Why is that? Maybe the Santa Clause, snowman and rain dear songs aren't appropriate(but I still indulge:)) year round but the songs about the saviors birth and time together as family there beautiful and fill my heart mind and soul with joy.
I often think what it would be like back in the 1930's and 40's. The entire family gathered around the radio for a bit of entertainment. Wouldn't it be splendid to experience that? I think today the kids are overly entertained, there lives have become to complicated. Ah really, give me the simple life. Do you think it's possible that I was born in the wrong era? Ha ha
I'm sure I will be bring up the good'ol days again but for now I'm hoping to bring a small part of the past forward to the now. Yes, that is much easier than converting a delorian(sp) in to a time machine. Oh boy but wouldn't that be cool!

Old Fashioned Christmas Candy
Man oh man do I remember this candy. Mom, always put it in this decoration that look like a red boot, part of witch was a tin can, which held the candy. It was never wrapped so it stuck together and stuck to your teeth pretty good but doesn't all candy. Definitely brings back fond memories, dubbed as A bright, tasty treat, rich with Christmas nostalgia. Can be purchased at nutsonline.com
